Creation of a comprehensive management system for hygiene plans for the food industry

As one of the leading companies in the food industry, Sant Dalmai will participate in a new project: Creation of a comprehensive management system for hygiene plans for the food industry.

Process automation is a global trend in everything that surrounds us today, including work environments. At the food industry level, this automation is happening both in the production processes and in the cleaning and disinfection processes, so that they are safer and more reliable.

However, there is a significant non-automatable manual workload that makes it difficult to standardize hygiene processes, a fact that implies an increase in the consumption of resources and a lack of cleaning of critical areas due to incorrect follow-up of hygiene plans.

In the current context, where companies are increasingly committed to automation and optimization of processes, it is of vital importance that hygienic processes advance along with this paradigm shift.

The objective:

The objective of the project is to create a flexible and adaptable application that allows integrating manual and poorly standardized cleaning operations into the 4.0 technological ecosystem.

The project will allow companies to measure the efficiency of industrial hygiene processes, implement improvements and optimize work processes. This need coincides in most meat companies, which share the same objective of control and improvement. That is why it is a very representative project of a need in the sector and its results can encourage the implementation of the same or similar solutions in other meat or food companies in general.
